Brand new year 2014

So far the year has began with alot of momentum which I plan to keep going. Hopefully, I will see a snowball effect of great things happening for me this year. I had planned to do warm ups gesture drawings every day before my work day since last year but was uninterested given the last quarter of 2013 sucked monkey balls. So this is my attempt to improve my skills for 2014, this is three days of 2 min gestures...

Princess Banton

Character sketch of Sally Banton's great great great great great ..... grandmother. The generations of Banton women are based asset wise on Mothersally, Part of the Barbados' cultural Tuk band. Tuk is one of the most traditional forms of folk music, having its origins in the slave culture of the 17th century in Barbados. Mother Sally represents female fertility, and with an exaggerated back end. Mother Sally is always good for a laugh, and a favorite among Bajans and visitors alike. Definitely my fav to draw.
